Just an hour from central London, these popular bespoke one day journeys deep in the stunning woodlands of the North Downs are a great way to dip your toe into the ways of the forest. Each journey is crafted to the unique interests of your group. You might be a couple of friends wanting a guided journey, a family looking to explore your shared passion for nature and bushcraft, work colleagues seeking a chance to relax away from the office, a corporate group thinking about how to 'green' your business model, a circle of friends wanting to celebrate that special occasion, a university group keen to enhance their coursework... In the past I've created Forest Journeys for ALL of these groups and many more.

Workshops are run from a unique expedition-style camp pitched to create an exciting backdrop for our activities.

 My long experience working in schools enables me to craft a bespoke learning experience to suit the needs of each group and tie in with many aspects of the National Curriculum (History, Science, Environmental Studies, Art etc).

I also specialise in linking the ancient ways of the woods with age-appropriate introductions to climate change, environmental stewardship and carbon footprinting.

Day rate for Bushcraft and Environmental awareness workshops: £380
Longer workshop of 2 days or more are subject to a 10% discount.

Schools Workshops are usually 1 hour long for groups of 15 students. During a normal school day I run 4 workshops, and can work with up to 60 pupils.

Overnight Camps

 

For the REALLY adventurous I also run bespoke overnight workshops at my own woodland at the heart of the Sussex Weald. This is a great chance for smaller groups to immerse themselves deeply into the rhythm of the woods…perfect for families, groups of friends and corporate groups.
